Grandfather forced to undergo ECT before ‘preventable’ death

An Australian grandfather was given hundreds of electroshocks before he died. Victorian coroner, Mr Peter White found that there was no evidence the electroshock he endured provided him any relief and that the electroshock had become largely experimental.
