Kids on Antidepressants May Self-harm

The Mercury, 28 January 2016Girl sitting alone on steps.Children who are prescribed a common antidepressant could be at a higher risk of suicide and aggressive behaviour, it has been claimed.

Researchers say children and adolescents have a doubled risk of aggression and suicide when taking selective serotonin and serotonin-norepinephrine reuptake inhibitor drugs to combat depression.
